Arrest of six directors in the Iraqi Trade Bank on corruption charges

BAGHDAD – Babinaoz: A source in the Iraqi Commission on Public Integrity, That the difference in the body of investigators arrested six directors in the Trade Bank of Iraq on charges of corruption, noting that the arrest of these were under arrest warrants issued against them.

According to “Alsumaria News”, The source said that “teams of investigators in the Integrity Commission on Wednesday was able to implement the arrest warrants against six of the directors-general in the Trade Bank of Iraq on charges of corruption.”

The source, who asked not be named, said “the Commission has been investigating files placed managers arrested several months ago,” noting that “the arrest warrants issued by judges of integrity after testing the involvement of such charges against them.”

The source declined to give information on the names of managers arrested or placed branches in which they work, stressing that “the disclosure of this information is subject to completion of the investigation with them.”

The director of the Trade Bank of Iraq Hussein Al-Azri, who linked to the statesman Ahmed Chalabi arrived in Beirut on the fourth of last June on the run from Iraq’s accusation the bank’s board of corruption by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, while the response close to the bank that the matter falls within the liquidation policy.
