Futures prices jumped to U.S. oil to the highest level in about nine months, during Asian trading on Friday amid unrest in Iraq threaten to disrupt supplies from the second largest producer in OPEC.
The gains amounted to U.S. oil about 5 percent this week, heading towards the weekly recording the largest increase this year.
Jumped U.S. light crude futures for July delivery $ 1.15 to U.S. $ 107.68 a barrel, the highest level since September 19, 2013.
And stepped ore contracts Brent 73 cents to 113.75 dollars per Briml, the highest level since the ninth of September last year extended its gains since the beginning of the week to 4.4 percent, the biggest weekly increase since July 2013.
By 0350 GMT, U.S. crude futures fell to 106.92 dollars and Brent to 113.20 dollars per barrel.
The cast also support the oil from the dollar fell against major currencies.
