Futures prices jumped to U.S. oil to the highest level in about nine months, during Asian trading on Friday amid unrest in Iraq threaten to disrupt supplies from the second largest producer in OPEC.
The gains amounted to U.S. oil about 5 percent this week, heading towards the weekly recording the largest increase this year.
Jumped U.S. light crude futures for July delivery $ 1.15 to U.S. $ 107.68 a barrel, the highest level since September 19, 2013.
