Palm - ministry official said U.S. military (Pentagon) on Monday that the United States published a devastating near the coast of North Korea capable of intercepting missiles, in a new step for the U.S. Army in the face of the Pyongyang regime.
Said the official, who requested anonymity, said the destroyer "USS Fitzgerald," which was finally sailed to South Korea to participate in the military exercises, were sent to the south-west of the Korean Peninsula instead to dock at one of the portsof Japan.
The official described the move as "preventive", pointing out that they offer to provide "a greater number of options in terms of missile defense if it becomes necessary."
Earlier in the day, the United States announced it has deployed Mqatlta specter of "F-22" as part of the U.S. maneuvers - South Korea conducted against the backdrop of heightened tension on the Korean peninsula.
A spokesman for U.S. forces told AFP that Mqatlta ghost "F-22" arrived first on Sunday to South Korea to participate in the exercises annual continuing until April 30, as well as, the launchers of the type "B-52" and launchers ghost "B-2" flights training over South Korea in recent days, angering Pyongyang.
And will meet South Korean Foreign Minister Yoon Byung Soo his American counterpart John Kerry today in Washington to discuss the escalating tension in the peninsula while Kerry will travel to Asia next week, and especially to Seoul.
The White House announced earlier in the day that the hostile rhetoric for Pyongyang not matched by any military action.
Washington announced last Friday for dealing "seriously" with Pyongyang's announcement that it is now in a "state of war" with its southern neighbor, but تداركت that North Korea's threats familiar.
