Sumer News: The Parliamentary Integrity Commission revealed large differences in the sale of the currency, estimated at one million dollars to sell every ten million of the currency.
According to the agency (Sumer News), that the member of the Integrity Committee Abdul Karim Abtan said that "the IntegrityCommission recorded significant differences in the sale of currency in a situation of doubt up to large numbers."
He added that "the differences in the sale of the dollar up to one million dollars in the sale of every ten million that the price of the dollar by 119 and sold by 125," calling for "the formation of commissions of inquiry to find out the truth of the matter and the parties behind him."
Experts point out that one of the most dangerous files that have become corrupt in all parts, is the file auction currency, which has become the smell of corruption swell publicly and in the eyes of officials and the government without taking any action so far.
The importance of this auction stems from the fact that it is an auction for the exchange of foreign currency in Iraq to cover large expenses to support Iraq's foreign trade and, on the other hand, to help the partial withdrawal of the local currency from the markets to help maintain specific levels of inflation.
The Iraqi Central Bank announced earlier its decision to deprive three private banks and 99 banking companies from entering the window selling the currency, for violating laws and regulations on the purchase and sale of foreign currency.
A member of the Finance Committee, Majida al-Tamimi, has called for canceling the sale of the currency in the Central Bank of Iraq, pointing out that the political and party quotas have confused the work of government institutions, especially the economic ones.
