CBI encourages the introduction of payment on credit
Baghdad, October 5 / October (Rn) – The Central Bank of Iraq said on Wednesday that it would encourage the government work system of payment on credit, attributed to it contributes to encouraging international companies to enter the Iraqi market, stressing that monetary policy is not affected by the application of this method .
Iraq works to encourage foreign companies to enter its market in order to participate in the efforts to rebuild its infrastructure affected by the long years of siege and war.
The deputy governor of Central Bank of Iraq the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Iraqi Central Bey encourage payment system on credit for that style to attract the capital of international companies working in Iraq.”
He added that “there is no real damage to the system of payment on credit, which the Iraqi government plans to follow a monetary policy run by the Central Bank of Iraq.”
Saleh pointed out that “the government of Iraq must be planning to establish controls on credit payment process before adopting this method.”
And since the overthrow of the former Iraqi regime in 2003, successive Iraqi governments work to restore the health of the country’s economy, but has not yet been able to provide basic services to citizens, often protesting the lack of it.
