On Thursday, January 3, 2019, the head of the al-Hal Party, Jamal al-Karbouli, warned of the adventure of Iraq's economy by linking the Iraqi dinar to other currencies.
"We warn against linking the fate of the Iraqi dinar to othercurrencies, which is less valuable than it," Karbouli said in a tweet through his Twitter account. "This will have serious consequences for our economy."
