Basra Gas will provide Iraq with more than 31 billion dollar

Iraq Ministry of Oil stressed on Monday that Basra gas project will provide Iraq with 31.157 billion dollars as direct income, and pointed that its project to produce more than 3 million barrels per day and to export 2.6 million thereof in the upcoming period was completed.
Basra gas project in its final form will provide Iraq with 31.157 million dollars of direct income, Iraq Ministry of Oil Abdul Karim Al Luaibi told Alsumarianews . Indirect income will be much more as it represents the value of used fuel and gas oil which costs billions of dollars and would provide a part of electricity need, he added.
