Iraqi economy needs greater regional support

Iraq’s parliament met again last week after the termination of the existing Iraqi boycott of its meetings. It seems that the political crisis on its way to the solution, and now the parliament resumed its activity, and all eyes turn towards the discussion of the annual budget and which will reveal about Iraqi federalism and economic tensions existing in the country.

After nearly a decade the fall of Saddam’s regime, is still the Iraqi economy in volatility, and even today did not reach political agreements to the economy is immune, and economic measures are important and the most important of all, decentralization policies to resolve the negative impacts as a result of economic programs that were adopted by the Baath Party in the provinces and stimulate the economy idle for the oppressed provinces, procedures that were raised were either not integrated or are neglected within the stages of implementation deferred.

For more than four years, I followed the Iraqi government economic policies depends on the strategy of the central administration strict mocking the country as a whole for the benefit of Baghdad, The development plan, national year 2014-2010 and analysis of the Iraqi economy over the past forty years earlier, to the great variation between the capital and the rest of the country in education, health, employment, combat illiteracy and other development indicators.
