Economic policy team, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways agreed on hiring Iraqis or foreigners economy experts from international organizations and economy university professors.

The team includes in its membership the Ministers of Finance, Oil, the Iraqi Central Bank Governor and Chairman of Supreme Audit.

A statement by the Office of Shaways said on Wednesday that the meeting discussed the main challenges facing the Iraqi economy and the shift towards a free market economy, the fight against chronic unemployment, inflation, the disruption of the structure of the economy and foreign debt and the reconstruction of infrastructure, as well as economic legislation and issues of corruption.
