An official source with the South Oil Company, on the completion of procedures for the signing of contracts with international oil companies to develop its facilities in the province of Basra. The source, who preferred anonymity, told a news briefing yesterday that the Southern Oil Company completed the procedures to sign a contract with the Italian companies and the Australian for the purpose of the development of its oil installations in Basra province. He said that the ceremony of signing the contract between the South Oil Company and officials of foreign companies will be in Basra this weekend. plans to Iraqi oil to increase its exports during the next six years to 12 million barrels per day after obtaining the approval of the world’s oil (OPEC) .
