The Arab League has to visit Iraq to discuss arrangements for the Arab summit

BAGHDAD – Babinaoz: The Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Dr. Nabil el-Arabi that he had received an invitation from the Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari to visit Iraq to discuss arrangements for the regular Arab summit to be held in Baghdad.
He added that it was agreed during a meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister on the visit to take place in the second half of next month, stressing the importance of the summit to discuss the situation and developments in the Arab countries adding that Iraqi Foreign Minister discussed with senior officials in the university setting arrangements for the summit.
Meanwhile, a Arab he started talking with the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem to discuss the start of the Arab efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria through a dialogue with the opposition under the supervision of an Arab.
The Arab foreign ministers had called at their special meeting yesterday at the headquarters of the League to make the necessary contacts with both the government and the Syrian opposition parties of all stripes to hold a conference for a comprehensive national dialogue in the headquarters of the League of Arab States and under its auspices in 15 days.
