A parliamentary source said on Wednesday that the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, and a number of military leaders in the U.S. Army held a meeting today with the head of the Iraqi parliament Osama Najafi, stating the meeting would discuss the issue of the American withdrawal from Iraq, to be the end of this year.
The source said in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, a number of military leaders and the Americans arrived, today, the Iraqi parliament building and held a meeting with Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi.”
The source, who requested anonymity, said, “Najafi meeting with Jeffrey and U.S. military leaders devoted to the subject of a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq.”
