Zebari looking preparations for the signing of an agreement of cooperation and partnership between Iraq and the European Union

Baghdad (news) .. Research and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, in the Conference Centre in Bonn, with Baroness Catherine Ashton, the High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security in the European Union preparations to sign an agreement of cooperation and partnership between Iraq and the EU.

A statement by the Foreign Tlguent Agency (news) a copy of it on Monday: that the meeting included a review of the relationship between Iraq and the European Union in light of the evolving relations between the two sides in the light of preparations for the signing of an agreement of cooperation and partnership between Iraq and the EU.
The two sides stressed the importance of this agreement in advance the relationship between the advanced steps forward.

They also discussed the decision of the Government of Iraq in the closure of Camp Ashraf end of the year 2011, and the emphasis on the sovereign decision of Iraq.

And praised Baroness Ashton Iraq’s position in the treatment of this subject in accordance with considerations of humanity and respect for international humanitarian law, and the steps taken by Iraq in this area in cooperation with relevant international organizations in the forefront of the UN High Commissioner for refugees and the UN mission to help in Iraq (UNAMI).
