Kirkuk: efforts to establish a local e-government to attract investors
Kirkuk, December 28 / December (Rn) – Kirkuk province is planning to establish a local e-government to attract investors from various countries for the economic advancement of their betterment.
The need of Kirkuk to the funds and investments to build strongly its infrastructure destroyed by years of war and isolation, and government neglect.
An official notification of Kirkuk Dler Samad told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that a conference was held in the governorate building, during which discussion of the draft e-government system to facilitate and attract investment.
The e-government raise the level of performance of government departments, operating and developing the level of communication between them and private sector institutions as well as facilitate the work of the reviewers.
The conference was attended by the deputy governor Rakan Said, Kirkuk and Ali Hamadi, deputy governor for technical matters and a number of media.
He stood that the conference discussed the “benefits system, electronic government, which lies in upgrading the efficiency of the government in reducing the time taken to complete transactions and raise the level of accuracy and overcome the constrained space and time, as well as in electronic archiving, control and surveillance and to increase the ability to make informed decisions.”
