Gulf Arab princes meet to discuss holding a summit in Iraq

Confirmed the Arab League, on Thursday, its commitment to hold the next summit in the specified place in Iraq, pointing to the due date is the end of next March, with the secretary pointed out that the Gulf rulers meet to discuss the summit of Iraq.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Helli in a press statement seen by “Twilight News” “The Arab League remains committed to holding the summit in place in Iraq,” noting that “the summit will be held at the scheduled end of next March.”

He Hali that “the Secretary-General of the League Nabil el-Arabi is currently touring in the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, and before that was in the other Arab countries,” adding that “the goal of the trip is to see the opinion of the Arab leaders of the Arab summit as this is extremely important.”

It is noteworthy that Iraq has hosted the Arab summit twice, convening the Arab summit ninth in 1978 and to decide which county companies and institutions operating in Egypt that deal directly with Israel and not to approve the Camp David, as well as the convening of the 12th Summit in 1990, which witnessed the severe tensions between Iraq and the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates after which broke out at the first Gulf War.
