Arab League postponed its visit to Baghdad to the end of the month

Postponed the visit of the Arab League delegation, which was scheduled to visit Baghdad yesterday under the chairmanship of Deputy Secretary-General Ahmed Ben Helli, to complete the arrangements for holding the Arab summit in Baghdad, the end of March.

Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli in a press statement that he decided to postpone the visit to 30 of this month for talks with senior Iraqi officials on the arrangements for holding the next Arab summit.

He attributed the Ben Helli, the reasons for the postponement for a week because of the preoccupation with the Arab League to meet the extraordinary Arab League Council and the Ministerial Committee on the crisis the Syrian and follow-up of the Arab League for the latest developments in the Syrian and follow up the implementation of the resolutions and the Arab foreign ministers.

He noted that the visit is commissioned by the Secretary-General, Dr Nabil Arab at the head of the delegation much of the Secretariat to complete the preparations and arrangements for the summit.
