According to the Director General for Planning and follow-up in the Ministry of Agriculture Government of the Territory Anwar Omar, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "The ministry called on the Council of Ministers of the region to allocate trillion and 200 billion dinars in the general budget for the implementation of programs and projects for the current year," pointing to "the consent of the Council of Ministers asked the ministry." He added that "one of the projects of the ministry for the current year to build two dams aquatic in the region will be initiated in their implementation after approval by the Parliament of Kurdistan on the state budget, "noting that" the Ministry's budget for last year amounted to 292 billion dinars, including 28 billion for investment, 56 billion of subsidies and 212 billion for the implementation of agricultural projects in the region. " He continued by saying that "the five-year plan of the ministry will end By next year, has made great strides in some areas, particularly in the field of agricultural production of vegetables and fruits unlike the field of animal production, poultry, "stressing" the ministry is to achieve better results in areas lagging.
