Erbil, January 29 (Rn) - The newspaper "Sunday Times" British French oil company Total close to a deal for the rights to explore for oil and gas in many areas in the province of Kurdistan. The newspaper said the deal could be announced within the coming weeks, according to reported "Reuters" the paper said. Sources in the oil sector, that Total visited the province and inspected oil and gas fields, in order to sign several contracts to explore for oil and gas, but there was no immediate comment from Total. Today, many oil companies, the major Western , activities in Kurdistan, either through the purchase of companies already operating in the region and most of them small, independent companies or by buying shares in the oil and gas fields.
