The meeting resulted in agreement on the blocks to submit their candidates for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the National Alliance presents its candidates to the Ministry of the Interior within two weeks specifications approved by the three blocs of Iraq and the Kurdistan Alliance and the National Alliance.

Agreed political blocs during the meeting also authorized the government to start talks with the U.S. on keeping the number of U.S. troops to train Iraqi forces until after the deadline for full withdrawal end of the year 2011, while met with delegation opposed the Sadrists, who reject any kind of talks in this regard.
