Memorandum of Understanding between the Union of Arab Banks and the Association of Iraqi private banks

Union of Arab Banks signed with the Association of Iraqi private banks memorandum of understanding on future cooperation plan on Saturday at the Union House, Beirut Arab banking.

Signed this Convention for the Association, its president Mustapha Hillawi appearance in the presence of Vice-President Abdel-Aziz Hassouna, and the Union of Arab Banks, the Secretary General and Sam Hassan Fattouh.

This agreement aims to document the mechanisms of cooperation between the Union and the Association and raise the efficiency of workers in the Iraqi banking system through the organization of courses and seminars of joint training for the financial sector and the Iraqi banking, and the main terms of this agreement to work on opening up new prospects for cooperation between the two parties is the involvement of Iraqi banks are active in the activities of Union conferences, forums and workshops and the emphasis on cooperation with the lecturers, trainers and experts from the banking system and financial Iraqi, in seminars, forums and conferences, as well as cooperation in the exchange of economic studies, banking and research between the parties.

Fattouh was confirmed on this occasion the importance of this cooperation after the return of Iraqi banks to play an economic role and a bank active locally, regionally and internationally
