Up US Secretary of Defense James Mattis, on Tuesday to Iraq to visit Baghdad and Erbil.
Political sources said that "US Defense Secretary Mattiece will visit Baghdad and Arbil on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in the war against da'ash and coordination between Iraqi forces and Peshmerga forces and discuss the referendum in the Kurdistanregion with officials in the region and Baghdad."
The sources added that "the visit of Matisse may be a message to the Kurds to postpone the referendum in the region."
