Prime Minister Haider Abadi stressed the need to complete the success achieved during the Iraq Reconstruction Conference.
Abbadi, during his meeting with the Council of Ministers, held meetings with ambassadors, institutions and representatives of international organizations to start activating financial pledges and follow-up negotiations with international and national companies to start contracting with them on investmentopportunities announced during March of this year,.
The Council discussed the issue of water scarcity, which is being exposed to many countries, including Iraq and the measures taken by the government to address it and voted to extend the maintenance of the Mosul Dam and the reconstruction of Baiji refinery, in addition to vote on the loan agreement project of the Social Development Fund.
The Council agreed to grant allocations to the employees of the Border Crossings Authority and amend the instructions for additional hours for the staff of the Electoral Commission as well as the allocation of degrees to the Ministry of Health for the purpose of appointing graduates of medical specialties.
