Revealed the Iraqi National Congress, on Sunday, close to the end of the unresolved crisis between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The Secretary-General of the Party, Aras Habib said in a statement received by the agency all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, "The announcement of the sending of salaries of some employees of the Kurdistan region even before the completionof the check lists indicates good faith that has governed the relationship between the center and the region," noting that "The same applies to the ongoing discussions on airports, where the next few days can witness the end of the crisis."
Habib added that "quiet dialogues that are not accompanied by political escalation or investment have been and are still the reason for the arrival of things to a positive end."
Relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan region have deteriorated after the authorities in Erbil held a referendum on secession from Iraq on September 25, prompting the government in Baghdad to impose measures including stopping international flights to and from Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi National Congress Party, one of the parties and entities allied to the coalition [victory] led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
