Al-Arabi newspaper reported Saturday that Iraq has not yet received one dollar from donations from the Kuwait Conference for the reconstruction of Iraq, noting that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will not oppose any external movement of local officials in the liberated provinces to collect donations or grants To rebuild their areas.
"The Kuwait Conference on Donors for Iraq has not achieved very few results, and the countries that have announced their donationhave not yet handed over one dollar to Iraq, despite the urgent need to provide relief to the population in those areas," the newspaper quoted a senior official in the Iraqi cabinet as saying.
