The official spokesman for the Electoral Commission, Judge Laith Jabr Hamza said that "the Commission sent the final results of the Federal Supreme Court for the purpose of ratification."
"The completion of all appeals by the judiciary in the Federal Court of Cassation after completing the relevant stages, so the final resultsof the elections were sent to the Federal Supreme Court for the purpose of ratification," Hamza said in a statement to the agency.
He added that by sending the results to the court, "the task of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Independent High Electoral Commission, which has been assigned to them, has been completed."
