(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The head of the National Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, Saturday, that "the chances of the national majority project is imminent and clearer than before."
"Mr. Ammar al-Hakim received the US President's envoy to the International Coalition Against Terrorism, Bert Magurk, and stressed Iraq's urgent need for a strong and capable government capable of meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people under the conditions set by the supreme religious authority," the statement said.
The head of the National Alliance, according to the statement, "the importance of ending the political debates and the removal of the government from political rivalries and overriding public interest," pointing out that "the chances of the national majority project is imminent and explained than before, especially as we approach the ratification of the Federal Court on the results of the elections."
He renewed the call for "constructive dialogue to end the state of conflicts in the region so that their peoples can live in peace and to promote their development," pointing to the "repeated rejection of the policy of starving peoples."
He called for "the need to take into account the special circumstances of Iraq and its relationship with the neighboring countries and the region, especially the relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran."
