Newspaper reveals the promises received by the Sunni and Kurdish blocs and stresses - Washington is in a state of shock

A Gulf newspaper revealed the promises received by the Sunni and Kurdish blocs after losing confidence in the United States, noting that the latter is in a state of shock over what is happening in Iraq.

"Washington is living what can be seen as a shock in Iraq. Even its Sunni and Kurdish politicians and allies have appeared insensitiveto their pressure on them, and they have more faith in Iran's promises than Americans," the New Arab newspaper quoted a political source as saying.

The source, who asked not to be named, "The evidence is that most of the political blocs agreed that the first task of the new parliament is to enact a law to remove all foreign troops from Iraq, led by the US military."

He added that "the Sunni blocs have received many promises from Iran, including withdrawing the popular mobilization of the Sunni cities in the north and west and central Iraq, and the solution of the kidnappers, and the reconstruction of cities liberated from the organization of a supporter, the terrorist and a program to release tens of thousands of detainees, and ensure the unity of Nineveh Part of it for the Kurdistan region, and support for the Arab component in Kirkuk, and the return of the inhabitants of Jafar al-Sakhr and Owaisat and Yathrib and other areas to their homes, "explaining that" there are promises to Kurds related to the security file in particular. "

"Sunnis and Kurds have a bad experience with American promises over the past years," the source said.
