Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) MP Bashar al-Kiki announced on Sunday the party's conditions for Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, in exchange for participation in the next government.

Bashar al-Kiki said in an interview with Baghdad today that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party does not care about any positionreceived in the next government as much as the real participation in the making of Iraq."

Kiki added that "the Kurds have bitter experiences in the time of the government of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the outgoing Prime Minister, Haider Abadi," noting that "we want the Prime Minister-designate program clear and transparent guarantees and time limits, to meet our demands."

He continued, "The Kurds' constitutional demands, including the application of Article 140 of the disputed areas, and resolving the outstanding problems with regard to oil and gas, as well as pay the dues of the Peshmerga forces."

The Media Office of the Prime Minister-designate, announced in (October 17, 2018), the intention of Adel Abdul-Mahdi, to present his ministerial cabinet with the ministerial platform this week, pointing out that Abdul Mahdi is required contacts with the Presidency of Parliament and leaders of the political blocs to determine the appropriate day to submit the names of his group Ministerial level.

Abdul Mahdi had launched a website for the nomination of ministries, which lasted for 48 hours, and closed the site on Thursday afternoon (October 11).
