He added that "the method of contracting followed by the concerned authorities occurred at different times, and the recognition of the same bodies Iraq does not have the equipment to allow him to know the size of the capacities entered into with the international companies processed, and the size of the consumer, and here is the theft is possible, Those responsible, and all this reflected negatively on the nature of service received by the local consumer, although the participation fees is the highest in the world. "
Al-Kaabi pointed out that "the relevant parliamentary committees follow the case in all its details and will resort to summoning the officials of the concerned authorities to find out the reasons for not taking any action to prevent such violations during the previous years, and then the necessary measures will be taken to stop such violations, All contracts and resort to the application of the licensing system, as happened with mobile phone companies to ensure steady returns to the state treasury.
The Ministry of Communications confirmed on Friday "the continuing smuggling of Internet capacity, noting that there are specialized companies and media outlets behind the smuggling."
The issue of smuggling Internet capacity has been revealed for months after the discovery of companies smuggled through optical cables from the province of Kirkuk, to be sold secretly to companies equipped in most of the provinces of Iraq, causing the deterioration of Internet service in the country.
