He pointed out that "the government will study the amendments and additions added by the House of Representatives, and will develop as soon as necessary instructions to start the implementation of budget materials."
The Prime Minister pointed out that "the government has already begun to lay the foundations to be a budget in 2020, balancing projects and performance and not balancing items, which if we succeed in it will represent a major reform and change from what was the case for the last hundred years of the life of the Iraqi state.
"The government is also working on finalizing a number of final accounts for the past years in implementation of its ministerial platform, which was based on the confidence of the people's representatives."
Abdul-Mahdi expressed his hope that "this great achievement is complemented by the other achievement represented by the agreement of the political forces to complete the ministerial lineup so that the government can start with all its capacity to serve the aspirations and interests of our dear people."
