Al-Zrafi submits an application to Parliament to set the date for the extraordinary session and vote on the cabinet and ministerial curriculum

On Sunday (April 5, 2020), the Prime Minister-designate, Adnan Al-Zorfi submitted an official request to Parliament, to fix the date for the extraordinary session, in order to vote on the cabinet and the ministerial platform.
A source familiar with in an interview with (Baghdad Today) said, "Al-Zarfi submitted a requestto the Iraqi parliament to set a date for an extraordinary session to vote on the government program and the cabinet."
The Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zorfi announced yesterday, Saturday, the completion of his cabinet, while warning of the government's inability to secure employee salaries.
Al-Zorfi said, in a press statement: "I completed my governmental formations of competencies from inside Iraq, and I am waiting for the parliament to determine a session to vote on the government program."
He added, "Iraq is going through a disaster and the government may not be able to secure all salaries," explaining that "oil belongs to the people and the government has no right to dispose of this wealth in an inappropriate way."
Al-Zorfi continued, "I call on all political forces to join hands to draw up a plan during the next three months to provide wages for social welfare."
And on the possibility that Iraq will be a battleground for international conflict, Al-Zorfi stressed, "I spoke with the international coalition and we will not allow Iraq to be a battleground for regional and international conflict."
