The leader of the victory coalition, Ahmed al-Hamdani, has set Monday (6 April 2020) the date for the upcoming cabinet cabinet announcement of Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zarfi.
Al-Hamdani said, to (Baghdad today), that "the Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zrafi, has ended the formation of his cabinet,and submitted a request to the Iraqi parliament, to determine the date of the voting session for the new government, as Al-Zarfi ended what he has and what remains is in the hands of Parliament."
He added that "the Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi will reveal the ministerial cabinet, after the Iraqi parliament has decided on a voting session, and will announce it to the Iraqi people and political forces, 48 hours before the session is held."
On Sunday, the Prime Minister-designate, Adnan Al-Zorfi, confirmed that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives will determine a session in the near future to vote on the ministerial cabinet that he will head, while he indicated that he is charged by Iraqi representatives and not by Iranian or foreign parties.
Al-Zrafi said in a televised interview that I followed (Baghdad today), "His mandate is constitutional and came with parliamentary and political confidence," noting that "the Presidency of the Council of Representatives will soon determine a session to vote on the ministerial cabinet."
He stressed that "the government is ready and will present it 48 hours before the extraordinary session," noting that "it will be proven to everyone that it will distance Iraq from the specter of attacks and war."
Al-Zorfi added that he had "discussed with everyone about the formation of the ministerial cabinet," noting that "the holding of elections will top the activities of the next government, as full support will be provided to the Electoral Commission in the performance of its tasks."
He pointed out that "the blocs are honest and wise of the signatories to his nomination in the Seven Committee, and the bloc is walking with the formation of the government.", Calling on "the Iraqi people to support the decisions of the next government and we will act with it."
