Political source - Al-Kazimis fortunes are still strong and some of the nominated names will change

[Baghdad-Ain]
An informed political source confirmed that the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s passage and the confidence of the House of Representatives “are still strong.”
The source said, "The names presented to the government formation, part of which is accurate and the other is not accurate, and there are changes to the names that may happen because they are still in the negotiation stage."
He added, "Al-Kazimi's opportunity to pass is still strong, and there is acceptance by large political blocs of a number of names that have been put forward."
The source pointed out, "Al-Kazemi has an ambitious government approach and wants to achieve it, and therefore the political blocs must help him, as the challenges are great before him under complicated circumstances. There are basic files that must be centralized at this stage, which are external relations, economic management, the oil crisis, and others." .
It is noteworthy that after circulating about four forged ministerial lists said to represent the composition of the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, it seemed that the fifth list that has been circulating for two days is the correct one.

The proposed selection includes a number of new names, including Harith Hassan for Foreign Affairs, Hisham Dawood for Culture, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani for Agriculture, Khaled Battal for Planning, Nizar Qahtan for Electricity, Ibrahim Bahr Al-Ulum for Higher Education, Jabbar Laibi for Oil, Maher Hammad for Trade, and Kazem Al-Sahlani for Transportation, among others.

The list of 14 ministers is sufficient to pass the government in Parliament in the event that a session is held for this purpose, with the rest of the portfolios being kept under discussion between Al-Kazemi and the political blocs that represent the three main components (Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds), given that the ministries assigned to the security file (defense and interior) are from Among the bags that Al-Kazemi did not suggest are ministers.
The reasons behind this are mixed, between differences over the interior and defense being confined between Sunnis and Shiites, or if Al-Kazemi wants to limit the security file to his hand so that he, not the blocks or components, nominates the defense and interior ministers.
