Monday, the independent deputy, Basem Khazaal, said that the Kurdish forces' commitment to the survival of Finance Minister Fouad Hussein would depose Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi.
Khazal said in a statement, "The Kurdish blocs are still committed to the survival of Fouad Hussein within the Al-Kazemi booth," noting that "the Shiite forces are strongly opposed to the survival of Fuad Hussein."
He added that "the struggle for the survival of the Minister of Finance and its replacement between the Kurds and Shiites will make the passage of Al-Kazemi very difficult," noting that "Al-Kazemi may fail to obtain the confidence of the House of Representatives as he is unable to satisfy the political blocs."
A parliamentary source revealed yesterday, Sunday, the movements of a number of deputies by collecting signatures for the survival of a number of ministers of Adel Abdul Mahdi’s government in the cabins of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi, separate from their political blocs.
