A parliamentary source confirmed, on Wednesday, that four ministries within the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazimi will fall by a vote in the House of Representatives, among which the most prominent ministries are the financial.
The source said in a statement, "The ministries of finance, labor, social affairs and communications will fall by a vote in the House of Representatives because there is no parliamentary consensus on passing them so far," noting that "these ministries will be postponed to another date."
He added that "Today, defense, interior, education, youth, sports, foreign affairs, justice, culture, agriculture and health will be passed," noting that "finance, communications, work, social affairs and another ministry will be deferred until agreed upon."
And that "some political blocs are still sticking to quotas and access to ministerial portfolios."
