Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi received a phone call from Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office stated that Al-Sabah congratulated Al-Kazemi "on obtaining the confidence of the representatives of the Iraqi people, and wished him successin his duties to lead Iraq and overcome the crisis of the Corona epidemic and terrorist and economic threats, and enhance the role of Iraq to achieve security and stability in the region."
Al-Kazemi thanked the Prime Minister of Kuwait, expressing his desire to strengthen the relationship between the two brotherly countries on the basis of brotherhood, common interests and serious steps.
The two presidents also discussed, according to the statement, "forming a committee headed by Iraq that handles the remaining compensation file, as well as implementing the decisions of the Kuwait Conference."
