Files under investigation - Integrity demands that the former government ministers be prevented from traveling

On Sunday, a member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee called on Sabah Al-Taloubi Al-Okaili, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to prevent all former ministers from traveling until he sent books to the investigative bodies or took official pledges from them to attend whenever requested to do so.
Al-Okaili said in an interview with him, “There are many files thatare still under investigation, whether in the judiciary, the Integrity Commission, the Integrity Commission, or other oversight and investigative bodies”?

He added, "It has become obligatory for Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to prevent all former ministers from traveling until he sends books to those investigative bodies or takes official pledges to attend whenever he asks them to do so."

He added, "The duty of the current government, especially its ministers, is to open an in-depth investigation within the ministries, and the doors for disbursing budget funds for the past year."

He also said: "With certainty that in-depth investigations will be opened, a lot of mysteries will be revealed, and that this action will have a clear indication in front of the people and proof of the current ministers’ credibility and high importance for the next stage, which is what everyone expects from them. "

On Sunday, the Prime Minister announced that Adel Abdel-Mahdi and his ministers are being referred to retirement.
