The spokesperson for the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, Yahya Rasoul, and the commandments of Mustafa al-Kazimi told the army commanders.
"Al-Kazemi urged the army leaders that the security system be in place to protect the security of the country andthe Iraqi citizen," Rasul said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added, "Likewise, to protect the demonstrators and deal with all wisdom and reason with the demonstrations."
"Al-Kazemi also emphasized the proper building of military capabilities and arming the army with the best weapons and equipment," Rasul added.
