Member of the Union of Forces, Representative Safaa Al-Ghanem, revealed on Wednesday 20-5-2020, the fact that there is a political movement to dismiss the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, while he affirmed the existence of a political consensus to hold the first sessions of Parliament after Eid Al-Fitr.
Safa Al-Ghanem said, in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that "the talk about the existence of a political movement to dismiss the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, is inaccurate, and what is said is talk that has no evidence."
Al-Ghanem added, "There is an agreement between the various political forces to resume the meetings of the parliament immediately after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday to exercise its oversight and legislative role," noting that "the file for resolving the ministerial cabinet will end very soon."
