MP Sadiq Al-Sulaiti confirmed, Sunday, that the health insurance law has matured and voted on after the Eid holiday.
Al-Sulaiti said, "The crisis that Iraq and the world are witnessing now is a health crisis, so the health insurance law will be amongthe priorities of the next stage in the parliament."
He added, "The law has been read twice inside Parliament and added to it some paragraphs and notes. Currently it has been ripened within the specialized committee," stressing that "the draft law will see the light after Eid Al-Fitr."
He pointed out that "some ministries took advantage of their employees with deductions for informal private companies," noting that "these measures will be repealed by a legal clause and a unified health insurance law will be for all layers of Iraqi society."
