Baghdad / .. Al-Fateh deputy, Muhammad Karim, revealed, on Tuesday, the intervention of the American ambassador to Baghdad, Matthew Tooler, by choosing the candidates for the remaining ministries of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
Karim said in a press statement that "the United States of America is exerting pressure through its ambassador in Baghdad to pass certain personalities within the Al-Kazemi government," noting that "these interventions and pressures are still going on with the purpose of passing on personalities of the American administration."
He added that "interventions, quotas and the imposition of names are all reasons hindering the passage of the remaining cabinet in Parliament," noting that "the Alliance of Conquest granted Al-Kazemi the freedom to choose the remaining ministers."
He continued that "the blocks that adhere to quotas, parliament will reject their candidates and will not pass."
