A source reveals to Baghdad Today the names of candidates sent by Al-Kazemi to parliament

A well-informed source revealed, on Thursday (4 June 2020), the names of the candidates for ministerial posts, whose names were sent by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to Parliament, for voting, among the remaining seven ministries .

The source said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that Al-Kazemi nominated "Muhammad Karim to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fawad Hussain to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alaa Al-Jabouri to the Ministry of Trade, Evan Faiq to the Ministry of Displacement and Migration, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar for oil, Hassan Nazim to the Ministry of Culture, and Salim governor to the Ministry of Justice " .

Earlier in the day, the nominated names had arrived in the House of Representatives, which it is hoped to vote on, at a session next Saturday.

On Thursday (6 May 2020), the House of Representatives voted to pass the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who took the oath of office, marking the official start of its duties .

The Council gave its confidence to the defense ministers, Juma'a Anad, Interior Ministry Othman Al-Ghanmi, Finance Ali Abdel Amir Allawi, Planning Khaled Najm, Construction and Housing, Nazil Muhammad, Health Hassan Muhammad Abbas, Electricity Majid Mahdi Ali, Education Nabil Kazem Abdel-Sahib, Transportation Nasser Hussein Bandar, Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, Industry Manhal Aziz, Communications Arkan Shihab .

Parliament also gave confidence to Adel Hashouch, Minister of Labor, Mahdi Rashid Jassem, Minister of Water Resources, and Hamid Mekhlef, Minister of Education .

Parliament did not vote to grant confidence to Minister of Commerce Nawar Nassif, Minister of Culture, Hisham Saleh Dawoud, Ismail Abdel-Redha Al-Lami, Minister of Agriculture, and Hikma Hikmat Nasser, Minister of Immigration and Displacement, and the approval of the candidate for the Ministry of Justice, Abdel-Rahman Mustafa, was not obtained .

The vote was postponed for the foreign and oil ministries
