Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced on Monday that he has completed preparations for a strategic dialogue round with America, as it is usually an important platform for framing priorities.
A statement by the ministry, a copy of it, stated that, "Today, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met with the US ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Toller, and at the beginning of the meeting, the American ambassador expressed his congratulations to the minister on the assumption of his position as foreign minister of the Republic of Iraq."
Hussein emphasized, "The completion of preparations for entering the round of the strategic dialogue with America," usually that it "represents an important station that will frame the priorities of Baghdad and Washington."
The Foreign Minister stressed "the necessity to continue the positive development of the various distinct aspects of bilateral cooperation."
