Baghdad: Where's News} Today, Monday, the Minister of Transport, Nasser Hussein Al-Shibli, instructed the General Company for Passenger and Delegations Transport, one of the Ministry of Transport's formations, to direct the provision of regular transport lines to and from Baghdad International Airport and to implement the transportation system via the smart card.
In a statement, the Minister of Transport said,"Where News" received a copy of it, "Regular transport lines will soon be opened with modern, air-conditioned buses equipped with a smart card reader system, to facilitate the arrival of citizens to and from Baghdad International Airport and the end of the suffering they faced during the past 16 years."
On his part, Director General of Passengers and Delegations Karim Kazem Hussein said, "These lines will depart from four destinations in the capital, Baghdad (Al-Kadhimiya City, Al-Alawi Garage, Al-Bayaa Garage, and Al-Nahda Garage), and then to Baghdad International Airport and vice versa to serve the citizen."
It is worth noting that this step comes within the plans and directions of the Ministry of Transport and the company to enhance the volume of transport services provided to citizens and keep pace with the development in the field of transportation.
