MP for the Alliance of Walkers Sabah Al-Aqili stressed, on Tuesday, the need for Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to stick to the file of ending the foreign presence in Iraq during his current visit in Washington.
Al-Aqili said that the priorities in the meeting with the Prime Minister and US President Donald Trump are the removal of the joint foreign forces from Iraq, ”warning that“ their procrastination and their survival will create great security problems and the Iraqis do not need them. ”
He cautioned that "Mustafa Al-Kazemi should consider this priority as a popular demand."
Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, left the capital, Baghdad, heading to the United States of America, at the head of a government delegation, in response to an official invitation.
Al-Kazemi will meet with US President Donald Trump, Thursday, and during the meeting, discussions will be held on strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington, in addition to discussing current developments on the regional arena, and discussing issues of common interest.
