{Baghdad: Where News} A high-ranking delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government, headed by Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister, arrived in the capital, Baghdad, this morning, Tuesday, to resume talks with the federal government to resolve the differences and outstanding issuesbetween the two sides.
And the provincial government delegation has made several visits to Baghdad in the past months.
The differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad are based on the region's share of the financial budgets, the entitlements of the Peshmerga forces, the export of oil, and the disputed areas covered by Article 140 of the Iraqi constitution.
Baghdad and the region reached a temporary agreement regarding the payment of salaries until the 2021 budget is approved.
