Baghdad, MP for the Al-Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc, Ahmed Al-Kinani, criticized the government's weakness in dealing with the security challenges that the country is going through.
Al-Kinani said, "The security events that the country recently witnessed, especially with regard to the file of targeting the US embassy, demonstrated the weakness of governmentdealing and its failure to deal with the security file," indicating that "the government's decisions were not at the level of the events and challenges the country is going through."
He added, "The government is demanding today to resolve the issue of foreign presence in the country and end it to prevent things from slipping towards the worse," noting that "the American embassy has transformed from a diplomatic place to a military barracks, and this is unacceptable."
