The Ministry of Finance announced, today, Thursday, the launch of financing the salaries of ministries and departments not associated with a ministry for the month of October, after the approval of the fiscal deficit law by the House of Representatives.
The media office of the Minister of Finance said in a statement, "The Ministry of Finance directed all departments and banks affiliated to it, today, Thursday, for the purpose of starting the launch of financing the salaries of ministries and unrelated entities for the month of October, starting from Sunday."
He added that "the Minister of Finance directed the accounting and budget departments to start the procedures for launching the salaries of state employees for the month of October. The ministry also called on all banks to resume their work for the purpose of providing the necessary liquidity to strengthen the banks affiliated with them in the governorates for the purpose of paying salaries."
