The Iraqi government is discussing with the UN representative withdrawal of U.S. troops

Received Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Nouri Shaways Roche Thursday 20 October in his office in Baghdad HE Martin Kobler representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and the delegation accompanying him.

Deputy Prime Minister welcomed and congratulated by Kubler on the occasion of his receipt of the new functions of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq Muwafaqiya and wished him success in his work.

And to examine both sides of the political situation in Iraq and the countries of the region and reviewed by Dr. Roche Nuri Shaways the latest developments in the Iraqi political arena, as was discussed in the potential role of the UN mission in Iraq after the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
The Deputy Prime Minister praised the role of the United Nations and its humanitarian programs.

For his part, Kubler readiness of the UN mission to contribute in solving the serious problems because of its legitimacy and impartiality.
